Run the rivers, breathe deep of that yet sweet and lucid air, sit quietly for a while and contemplate the precious stillness, that lovely, mysterious and awesome space. Enjoy yourselves, keep your brain in your head and your head firmed attached to the body, the body active and alive, and I promise you this much: I promise you this one sweet victory over our enemies . . . You will outlive those bastards.”

I have hosted on my couch and I have hosted on trails. I have surfed on many couches in unexpected places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went hang gliding over the Swiss Alps. I was in the middle of a metro-riot in Mexico City. I saw Phish at Red Rocks. I was robbed and abandoned in the Amazon - and enjoyed it!
