I'm Shushan, 26 y.o. from Yerevan, Armenia. I'm a sociologist and writer/journalist who enjoys meeting new people and learning about new cultures. I'm very easy going and love to spend time in the good company of friends- no matter old or new, no matter where.

I love long discussions on social and political affairs, as well as going to raves and dancing. I find food an important component of every culture and enjoy simple pleasures of travels.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to almost all genres of music- from classic rock to techno, from classical music to hip hop. All that matters is that specific moment and whatever music matches my vibe at that point.

Long slow movies with casual, yet somewhat philosophical and deep conversations are my favourites. I'm currently exploring French cinema, and Eric Rohmer's films are specifically close to my heart. That said, I somehow also enjoy American sitcoms for casual watching.

Aside from dystopian classics, I do love Russian prose and poetry, as well as American literature. Some of my favourites are "Crime and Punishment", "The sound and the Fury", "To kill a mockingbird" and "The Master and Margarita". I do also read non-fiction, mostly analytical articles or social science literature.
