Hi there! My name is Shutaro, but you can call me Shu.
I'm a curious and adventurous guy from Japan who loves to explore the world, meet new people, and try new things. I'm a big fan of science fiction, street photography, and travelling, and I believe that life is all about creating unforgettable memories and experiences.

I am currently studying Computer Science and Philosophy at Columbia University in NYC.
I'm passionate about using technology to enhance our everyday lives. But when I'm not geeking out over code or pondering the meaning of life, you can find me discovering unique art installations, trying new foods, and snapping photos of the world around me.

Whether I'm visiting a new city or hosting someone on my own, I love the chance to connect with locals and learn more about their culture and way of life. There's nothing quite like immersing yourself in a new place and making memories that will last a lifetime.

I'm a bit of a tech geek, and I love exploring new gadgets and technology. But at the end of the day, I believe that the best way to experience the world is by connecting with the people who live in it. And that's why I'm so excited to be part of the Couchsurfing community.
