Couchsurfing has been the source of the most profound changesin my life.

I was luck to be hosted and guested by families, cyclists, adventurous grandmothers traveling solo, artists, students with lives so diametrically different than mine, so far out from what I knew to be familiar, It got me moments with amazing travelers, people with incredible stories of mountains and cultures, humor and loss, open hearts and loving families. And that shift has been the source of all things great so far. And I will forever be thankful to the CS team for it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-- Did the 4 day hike up to Macchu Picchu and loved every minute of it.
-- Sky diving - jumped out of an airplane at 9000 feet
-- Plucked grapes in a Vineyard in Italy all day and then jumped into a truckful of grapes to squish them with my feet
-- Sang with 6000 people on the wooden benches of Oktoberfest.
-- Konkan India on a full moon night and watched a crab invasion on the shore!
-- Walked for three hours in an underground cave in North India, where stories of Indian Mythology have naturally appeared on the walls of the caves
-- Lived on a boat in the Dal Lake in Srinagar, Kashmir
--Dipped my feet in the blue of the Pangong Lake in Ladakh
-- Kayaking in the cliff caves of Lagos, Portugal
-- Lost my soul to the Carnaval in Salvador, Bahia
-- Cycled down the Death Road in Bolivia and survived
-- Saw a FULL double rainbow in Patagonia.
-- Kayaked on a new moon night in the bio-bays of Puerto Rico
-- Seen the Milky Way across the Andean Sky
-- Climbed to the top of a rumbling Bromo Volcano
-- Hiked to the Blue Fire streaming down the side of Ijen Volcano

When I am in Mumbai, I can take you around Mumbai - show you around all the nice places there are to see ... treat you to the best of Indian cuisine - take you for Indian plays, movies.
