Overview
About Me
*** I am not as yet hosting people at the moment as my flat isn't ready for all the commotion ^^ ***
Open minded and curious, I like to share ideas and knowledge —which are both free— and a few drinks —which are not, but I know where you can get nice ones for cheap).
I enjoy good punctuation, bad puns and flat jokes as much as expanding my understanding of the world we live in, and how to make it better.
I really like food, especially rice, spicy dishes, and citrus (hello asian and mexican food).
I have no sense of orientation whatsoever, which is an asset for stumbling upon unexpected places, but deadly on a solitary trek in the Bengal Jungle, which is why I haven't been there yet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
There didn't seem to be any downsides to it, and I wanted to try it out, meet and share with people.
I registered because I am planning a trip to Japan in October 2015, and it was perfectly fitted for it : meeting with locals and keep on moving.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a large range of music and movie styles. Same with books and video games.
Although if I had to choose just one style of each I would say :
- 20th century rock (Dire Straits, Dead Kennedys, Queen, The Blue Hearts, and so many more)
- Thoughtful and mind-opening science-fiction and fantasy (Asimov, the Wachowkis, Studio Ghibli, Pixar, the Mass Effect univers, ...)
- Human sciences works like sociology, politics, economics (yes, it's not all math), ...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I enjoy my job.
I once used 4 lemons instead of 2 for a lemon cake recipe. I live for those crazy moments.

About sim cards and short-term data plans :
Orange offers a variety of prepaid cards:
- unillimited domestic calls and texts + data
- data-only sim cards
The largest plan of each will cost you around 30 euros.
You have to go to an Orange shop to get it. I can accompany you and set you up.
I can also help with other things like train and public transport tickets,...
What I Can Share with Hosts
It doesn't amount to much but I can share my flat, my time, my brain content, and hopefully lots of laughs.
Also available to you :
- Wifi available
- Washing machine
- Coffee machine
- Sheets, pillows, covers for sleeping, towels if needed
- Storing stuff in the fridge/freezer
- Cooking a meal (oven/stove/microwave,...)
