About Me

A cycling trip in India is a wonderful experience for me. I experienced the beauty of India's wilderness on a cycling trip, and I saw remote villages, breathtaking natural beauty, and gained a better understanding of India's geography and culture. In this journey, I'm learning more about different cuisines, different cultures, and a wide range of colors and aesthetics.
After departing from Siliguri, I (Shyam) travelled through Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, U.P, Uttarakhand, Himanchal, Ladakh, Kashmir, Punjab, Chandigarh, and Haryana and reached Delhi on 10th October 2021. I have taken a break in Delhi for a few days. I want to explore more and more places in India and my journey does not end here, it is still ongoing. After that I will resume my journey.
I have had many problems and faced numerous difficulties and challenges during my journey so far. But I'm proud of what I've accomplished. Local people helped me in every nook and corner wherever i went, and i believe that Indian people are very cooperative and helpful.

Great Cycling Tours in India

As I entered Bengal, I visited national parks, tiger reserves, and wildlife sanctuaries. After that I moved towards Jharkhand. It is blessed with lush green forests, lofty hills, sparkling waterfalls, several wildlife sanctuaries, and a treasure trove of mineral reserves. It is not only a tourist destination, but also a pilgrimage destination.Explore remote Himalayan villages in Kumaon or try off-road cycling in majestic Ladakh for a healthy dose of adrenaline.Kashmir with stunning beauty and is rightly called "Paradise on Earth”. Kashmir is graced with beautiful Chinar trees that turn the entire valley yellow and red when autumn arrives, silver lakes that turn golden at the crack of dawn, and crystal blue rivers that are sourced from the icy mountains. Punjab, Located on the north-western fringes of India. It is the land of five rivers, it is famous for its vibrant culture, history, Sikh architecture, and scrumptious cuisine. I saw the Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh which add to its popularity and make the state a favorite among tourists.
When I reached Delhi, Army veteran Major Sushil Goel, met me at the felicitation of Lt General Gurmit Singh, governor of Uttarakhand. After interaction with me for a while, he invited me into his office. He gifted me bike double bag, over pant raincoat, jacket raincoat and gloves. He provided funds and gave me other assistance. He is a very amiable and kind person. His generosity is truly inspiring.
My best wishes to Major Goel and his team members and a special thank you to everyone. I hope people will continue to support me during the next part of my journey and in my future endeavors.
