I was born and raised in Chennai (Tamil Nadu, India) and so far been in different parts of India(TN, AP) and USA(WI,IL, FL,NJ), and always been a outdoor person and liked visiting different places with family, As I grew my passion to outdoor also grew and expanding my activities list. As part of Chennai Trekking club I started hiking across trails in India mostly on the western ghats range. During that time I picked up the photography to complement my love of nature and trying to capture its beauty as much as possible.

To make myself more efficient on strenuous hikes I joined cross fit and as part of the training program have completed multiple 10K runs and Bike(Cycle) ride of 100Km and 200Kms (BRM). (I still have my goal of completing a full marathon)

With travel I have learnt a lot, travelling and meeting new people has definitely helped me become a better person.

As for my profession I am a Technology Consultant.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me and my wife love travelling and meeting new people. We are on couchsurfing to meet people from different backgrounds, listen to their travel stories and share ours. We also would like to give back as much as possible to the travelling community.

Interests

I have always been interested in outdoor and meeting people with similar interest. I have volunteered and organized nature friendly treks as part of Chennai Trekking club. I have also been part of the Youth hostel association of India in their trips.

My wife and I love visiting national parks and very much interested in hiking trails. (recent hiking trails include Rubicon trail, Mist trail, precipice trail).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a Couple we have been camping extensively, Just in this summer we did camping in Death valley, Mono Lake, Yosemite, lake Tahoe, Acadia and have an upcoming camping in Zion/Antelopes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We live in a spacious studio apartment in Jersey city, We have a roll away full size mattress and a couch for a night stay. The living space is limited but don't mind sharing it :)
