My name is Shyheim "Shy" Hinnant, I am 19 years old pursuing a degree in vocal performance. I am the bass section leader of VCU's Commonwealth Singers and a choral scholar at All Saint’s Episcopal church. I am a member of the voice studio of Dr. Kenneth Wood. In the future, upon completing my undergraduate studies, I hope to become a professional opera singer and actor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While pursuing a career in performance, I'm sometimes required to travel for auditions, performances, readings, etc. However, I'm still just a broke college kid with a dream. lol
Recently, I've been cast in the Harrower Summer Opera workshop's production of "Carmen" in Atlanta, GA and need a place to rest while I'm out there. (always willing to utilize my blow-up mattress)
