ABOUT ME

I'd say that I'm probably a mix between Catcher in the Rye and Siddhartha.

PHILOSOPHY

"I must find a truth that is true to me... the idea for which I can live or die." This is one of my favorite Kierkegaard quotes. It captures the sense of yearning or seeking that lies at the heart of the restlessness I feel. I think that the meaning of life is ultimately to find that meaning that you're satisfied with. Be it God, the belief in Humanism, or just simply to settle down and raise a family. I've yet to find this and hopefully somewhere down the road I will.

Teach, Learn, Share

This seems like a perfect opportunity to sound pompus and highbrow. If I already didn't sound like that in my "personal philosphy section." I was a philosophy major and I thought that I wanted to pursue it as a career but turns out that I didn't. So what can I teach you? Well I suppose I can always share personal experiences, and my culture. A mix of the immigrant experience, perhaps a different perspective on americans and what I think it means to be american. Also a little about my ancestral culture, which is Korean. Food is perhaps a passion for me, so I enjoy talking about food and cooking. So I can perhaps swap some recipies.
