ABOUT ME

Puppeteer, cloud lover and fun seeker! Vegetarian with a love for nature, art, good music, good food and all of lifes adventures! Im a creative soul and I love bringing a bit of sparkle and imagination to anywhere i visit...maybe even a puppet or two? I love meeting new people, especially those who do interesting things in any form and anyone in to alternative lifestyle.... live in a colourful household in East London and happy to host people passing through or musicians/performers who might need somewhere to stay.
Often performing in other cities and festivals so looking to find people who are happy to host and help out :)

Interests

Puppetry, performance, music, dancing, (Balkan anyone?!) dressing up, festivals, gardening, healing plants and practices, yoga, amazing food, good conversation, laughing, art, film, spontanuity, delicious things, people and places. Fine wine, good books, political conversation, vibrant discussion swimming outside, teaching and learning, adventures, fun freedom!
I like to try anything once and love meeting and being involved with anything engaging, interesting, worthy and creative. Im a marionettist and puppeteer so spend a lot of my time performing, live with Klezmer Balkan musicians so love world music and dance. Show me something I havent seen, tell me something Ive never heard :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Balkan, Klezmer, world music, folk, jazz.... anything that makes you want to whip your skirts up kick your shoes off and dance, dance dance!
I love to read... favourite books include 'Scepticism inc' by Bo Fowler, 'The Poisinwood Bible' by Barbara Kingsolver...lots of things by Will self and Sarah Waters. I love being recommended new reads and giving books I love for other people to enjoy.
Film wise, if it isnt terrible American comedy i'll probably like it!
