ABOUT ME
Ah, how uncomfortable to write oneself up... I was born in this little place called Pajala, at the edge of everything, and the center of all. To understand the mentality I was soaked in, you need to imagine a place bred on the theology of Lars Levi Laestadius, raised on working class awareness, and torn apart by war and high power politics. And from the ashes a young child - That would be me.
Through the wondrous twists and turns of the machinery of life I study religion (Specifically, in a year or so, religious psychology) in Umea, where I also live most parts of the year. I like Umea, but it's lacking compared to the valley where I'm from.
I live politics, I breathe comics, I sigh budo, and I LOVE music.
PHILOSOPHY
I am an Anarchist - Wherefore I will not rule, and ruled I will not be. Democracy is good, self-authority is excellent, racism is a piece of sh!t and must be fought at all stations. Relations - From small interpersonal to societies - are created and recreated at any and all moments, and they should always be based on mutual respect.
I also try to propagate altruism, but truth be told it's gotten hard. Life's small and sometimes very big and overwhelming oceans have washed over me, and sometimes I feel my footing is lost. We shall see.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf and I offer my own couch to any in need. Although, traffic seems to be thin in Umea. Come by!
I've more or less been off CS for some time now. I've, however, upgraded my living quarters, and downgraded my melancholia, so I'm going to sharpen up from here on out.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Had the good fortune of sleeping on a couple of couches in Tokyo. Excellent people, all of them, gotta return the favour! I was raised on generosity, and not sharing is a cardinal sin in my family. If I can help people to not spend outrageous money at lowly inns, then I will.
兴趣
Politics, music, comics, theology, game design, art, the spoken word, the beauty of kismet, asphalt before rainfall, the clarity of air after, friends' happiness, science, ethics, ethic science, dancing (Badly), singing (Worse), animal rights, the stuttered utterances of Bogart in any noir, punk rock manners, haircare, long walks (But very little experience of the beach), attempting to not become stressed by anything - And mostly succeeding, writing, pondering, meadering, maudlin, becoming genuinely engaged in the most trivial subjects, cooking, eating, digesting, sleeping...

音乐、电影和书籍
Movies: Anything by Bong Joon-ho, Akira Kurosawa, Takeshi Kitano (Also films he's in, especially Gohatto), Hayao Miyazaki, Wong Kar-wai, Sergio Leone, Lars von Trier, Roy Andersson, Woody Allen, Charlie Chaplin, Stanley Kubrick, and a handful more. I will cry to a good love story, I will laugh to funny films, and I will shiver to great horror.
Music: Bruce Springsteen, Morrissey (And consequently The Smiths)[Update! Morrissey's reactions to the Utoya terrorist killings have left me with a bitter taste. his future in my canon is unclear at the moment.], and Hakan Hellstrom (The Single greatest reason for learning swedish). Beginning to gain equal importance is Regina Spektor. Also close to my heart are Mattias Alkberg, Bear Quartet, Ani DiFranco, Entombed, bob hund, Black Sabbath, Kanye West, dead prez, Säkert!, Hello Saferide, Topi Sorsakoski, Agents, Amadou & Mariam, and countless others.
Books: Horror tickles my bones, but the last years have been almost exclusively fact instead of fiction, what with university. If I were to list some works which have been important to me, though, it would be something like this: 1984 by Orwell, Mediatan by Maria-Pia Boëthius, Soul of man under socialism by Oscar Wilde, pretty much everything I've read by Noam Chomsky or Emma Goldman or Peter Kropotkin or Karl Marx, the Earthsea series by Ursula K LeGuin, and of course Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell by Susannah Clarke.
Comics: Alan Moore, Don Rosa, Osamu Tezuka, and Goscinny are kings among men. Outside of them my love for the medium itself is such that I will swallow it whole almost no matter by whom or about what.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
I have seen people nearly die and survive (Myself included, numerous times), people nearly live and still pass on. I've broken hearts, and I've mended them. But the most amazing thing I've seen, by far, is watching my soon to be four years old nephew grow, and my not even one year old niece begin to sceptically ogle the world - And on that note the most amazing thing I've ever felt is the feeling of 'I don't know you, we've never met, you can't talk and so not tell me of yourself and your interests, but I know this beyond certainty: I love you.'
教,学,和分享
Teaching? Well, I guess my major is religion, so... Also I know some about anarchist thinking, ice-hockey, martial arts, and food.
Learning? Bring it on, pretty much. I have an insatiable thirst for knowledge. (Lately I've been starting to want to love soccer, but it's going slow. Any help would be appreciated.)
