About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am looking forward to my big fat backbag adventure in amazing New Zealand!!! Jippiiiee!
ABOUT ME
Hello world!
I am an optimistic, easy going, happy being, very interested in different people and cultures. I have lived in several cities so far and work on seeing as much from the world as possible.
PHILOSOPHY
my home is the world, my name knows no nationality, my heart knows no borders!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I do not only want to host people and surf couches, I hope to gain international friendships and meet a lot of new and inspiring people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I have hosted some people from all over the world and have had just a great time with them. Even good friendships did form out of that. Lately I also surfed on some couches and it was a fantastic experience :-)
Interests
I enjoy reading, writing, music and I am absolutely crazy about climbing! There can be nothing better than evening with friends in front of a glass of good wine and a lot of inspiring conversation. But I also like movies a lot, in particular french ones and I am interested in culture (museums, exhibitions, the opera house, film festivals, etc.). I love Biology (well this is probably why I studied Molecularbiology and worked in AIDS research) and I never get tired starting political and social discussions!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love movies...and most of all french ones. I enjoy music and listen to evertything depending on my mood from Mozart, to Evanescence to soundtracks to Lady Gaga.
The best books are the ones who keep you thinking about your world, books that distract you from routine life! My all-time favourit: The Lord of the Rings, and everything from Jane Austen.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I love to travel and meet new people! I found on every journey something that was amazing. The food, the nice and open people, the beautiful landscapes, the good discussions. There is a lot to discover outside of hotelrooms.
Teach, Learn, Share
I plan to become a Yoga teacher one day…because I love the philosophy and the physical exercises!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My friends say I am a good cook?!? Well, let me proof it to you BUT I mainly cook vegetarian food as I am a vegetarian :-) I can teach you how to play the guitar or some yoga Asanas if you like :-)
