Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couch surfing but have heard a lot about it through friends. I am excited at the prospects of meeting new people from different places!

Interests

I value conversing with people from different backgrounds and places as you learn so much, its a bit like reading a good book or speaking a new language to stretch your mind. I spend a lot of my time planning the next big getaway, as I'm a travel buff but unfortunately I don't do enough of it! I love staying in a place for a few days, preferably with a local to take in the sights and sounds and avoid the rushed travelling that so many people do these days. And music! I love guitar music, especially gypsy jazz and blues, and am an amateur guitarist myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to think of one off the top of my head, but watching the sunset over the Atlantic from Cabo de Roca in Portugal, the westernmost point on Continental Europe was pretty awesome!
