Overview
About Me
Traveller - Adventurist - Nature lover.
A Canadian by nationality, but certainly a mixed bag in terms of identity 🇮🇳 🇩🇪 🏳️🌈 🇲🇾 🇪🇸 .
I’m enrolled in a Teacher education program and aim to inspire a generation of youth. However corny it may sound, teaching through guided effort, care and discussion is something I enjoy most.
If you’re planning to backpack to Europe, India, South east Asia or East Asia or countries I’ve lived in I can share some good tips for your travels 🧳
Having spent the past couple of years living in different countries and travelling through a few, I've realized that people aren't that different overall......but yet individually we all remain quite unique.
I'm a simple person, who becomes ever more complicated once I step into the kitchen. I believe food is a way to express ourselves and communicate with others. Therefore, some meaningful effort to cook a meal is always worth it 😊.
In my free time, I like to read and discuss contemporary global politics, economy and culture. Besides, I like to spend time outdoors taking a neighborhood walk or visiting a local café. Those are some of the most characteristic features of my personality as I'm always looking to build on it by learning something new which people could bring to my life, which is the main reason I’m on CS.
Even though I’m new to Ottawa, if you’re visiting me I can promise you a nice walk in the city, some nice tea, coffee or beer and perhaps some dinner if you have the patience to join me in the kitchen to cook something nice 😊
P.S. Since I’ve lived in various cities in Germany and have travelled the lengths and breadths of this country, I would be happy to share any contacts and information you need about Germany 🇩🇪 🤓
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be able to explore a city from the eyes of a local and also to extend my courtesy towards travellers if they are visiting my (current) city and want to meet up.
