My name is Sid.

I grew up in both India and the United States. I am enjoying my time now living in the United Kingdom. I did my Masters up in Scotland and now I work down in England!

In my spare time I love meeting new people, travelling, playing ping-pong, and cooking.
My most recent trip was to Iceland to see the northern lights and it was probably one of the best experiences I've ever had.

I think going to places is great, learning the culture of the place is even better, but having someone local help you experience the culture is what truly makes travelling the experience it is.
Being hosted for even 1 night by someone who is from a place can teach you so much more than a week of walking around a town.

Its such a great platform to meet people and learn so much. Having Couchsurfed, I was able to get the inside scoop on a bunch of places and anyone you live with or you host has SO MUCH to share with you

Interesses

Travelling!
I traveled to South Africa and did Tandem Sky Diving and Shark cage diving.
We also drove around Kruger national park and that was amazing!

Did a 10 day road trip around Iceland hunting the Northern Lights!
