I love to travel and do adventure sports. I have completed four marathons and am learning salsa and the martial arts. I have travelled all over India . i have also been to Europe, middle east, morocco, turkey and serbia. I am currently living in England in the United Kingdom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am more of an outdoor person who believes in staying active. while on trips, I generally roam the entire day and visit nature's beauty like parks, beaches and wildlife reserves. Since i don't want to sleep and laze around in a resort or some costly place, I have decided to get verified on couch surfing. I also like to interact and get to know people coming from different parts of the world esp their life, languages and culture. since it helps broaden the views about people and places without leading to any stereotypes.

Interests

Listening to music, outdoor sports and adventure sports like camping hiking cycling trekking swimming and other water sports. Best is dancing to salsa music - have trained for a long time. Have tried surfing-was a lot of work. Will like to paint while touring instead of just taking pics.

Music, Movies, and Books

Soft instrumental music and salsa music is what i love. I generally watch action and comedy movies .I love science fiction books and magical fiction especially the harry potter type series. I have read most of the books on arthur clarke and isaac asimov. Now I have started reading more non fiction, biographies and self-help books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Completing the 42 km Mumbai marathon and getting dead tired at the 33 km mark. Completing the mud rush obstacle race ( all 29 obstacles cleared]. also have completed the paragliding course - it changed my view about flying completely.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn new skills and new languages. I can teach salsa since I am a level 4 salsa dancer. Can share languages, food and the beautiful beach and woods. There are some beautiful castles nearby if they are interested.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like like to share some keychains, stamps and momentoes with my hosts. I also like to bring some food from the local market for my hosts so as to show my gratitude.
