CURRENT MISSION

Started a "new life" 2010 by qitting my job and creating free time. Changed my domicile from Germany to Switzerland and I founded a Hostel in St. Gallen.
I started traveling again - worldwide, but especially exploring the borders and coastlines of Europe (1 to 3 months per year).
After the delays because of Covid and war in Ukraine, I want to complete my trip by going along the north shore of Russia (where I stopped after my journey all along Norway coast 2019 ) and from there following the Ural south.

Intelligent, well educated, but open for new impressions, ideas and opinions.
Interested in Culture, almost every music, literature, art, politics, new communication media,
I love reading, walking, listeneing or making music, discussing, meditate, be silent, be on my own.
I have three adult children and 5 grandchildren

PHILOSOPHY

I am considering philosophical questions about truth, what makes the world go round, where does the evolution (biological, social, economic) lead to? What does science and other ways of orientation (beliefs) tell me about the World? How do we function psychologically? How do we gain fredom?

Although i see the great risks the world is in (ecological, political, economical, spiritual) I have an optimistic view on the future.

My personal aim is to harmonize my longing for freedom with my longing for connectedness.

I offer a place to stay for up to two (world-)traveler for up to 2 nights in a house, which is home for 8 people

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since i live in Switzerland i have hosted some people from CS.
During my trip around the black sea in 2014 the contact to people I got to know by CS was essential for my trip .

I am handy and have pracitcal experiences in different parts of renovating
I do know quit a lot about science : medicine, biology, psychology, sociology, physics, maths.
