About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to pull off a successful budget travel...

ABOUT ME

A terrible cook, i dont eat fish, pineapple, mushrooms and raisins. i think mediterranean cuisines tastes weird. i dont come with my own subtitle. edible fruit bearing plants fascinates me. An acquired taste. A self-confessed geek. A Tolkien freak. A Freudian mystery. A photography hobbyist. Traveller. On-call shrink and devil's advocate to friends. Endearingly sarcastic. Oftentimes cynical. Geographically illiterate. i don't feel earthquakes. so i just watch out for people running out from buildings, and i follow :D i sing jingle bells all year round. i have a low threshold for pain. i collect toys (trying to re-capture a boring childhood) and i put mightybond on wobbling toys. i love sniffing new books. i sometimes buy both the hardbound and paperback copies so i could read the paperback and keep the hardbound copy sealed. my closest friends thinks im evil as i always make fun of them. i've always wanted to have henchmen/minions and arch-enemies (just like those you see in the movies). i dunno how to ride a bike. im terrible in taking care of tech-y gadgets. my ipod knows how to use the threadmill. my boss thinks im a coherent mess but loves my work anyway. onion+peanut butter+liver spread = not my bestest idea. hurrah for a tall, nonfat, warm, double-shot hazelnut latte as it keeps me up and perky for gym. inuman + q+a = fun. i've been asked tons of times already if im chinese (and im not...really). currently into photography. i dont get mad... i retaliate.

i need to get leet skills in estimating proper proportions for food preparation (say that 10 times in a row!) i'm so over eating veggie pasta...after 5 servings, it gets pretty damn old.

im not the handyman type. i once started to assemble a shoe rack, but realized that i was without a philips. i continued with the assembly using my trusty scissors.

i once attempted to sneeze while keeping a spoonful of yogurt in my mouth. in hindsight, taking the spoon out of my mouth might have increased my chances at success.

a walk to do some errands one day warranted the use of an umbrella, as there was a light drizzle accompanying my strides. after three years of loyalty to me, i finally realized that the black umbrella that i have grown fond of is really blue.

i've recently had a taste for tropical juices to accompany my meals. it's really better swallowed than snorted, trust me. note to self: do not attempt to multitask (a) drying of hair (involving bending over) with (b) drinking liquids, as liquid might have tendencies to take alternative paths upon ingestion.

eating sour cream and cheddar ruffles while watching tv with a loved one is just one of many fun times. comparing notes about whether or not your tongues could reach the bottom of the chip dish is even more fun.

watching late night tv, giving out your usual running commentaries while a friend spews out his own comebacks and exchanging opinions and what not, is something to really treasure. but a word to the wise: double check on your buddy because he might just be muttering "yeah, huh" while drifting off to sleep, leaving you the victim of the MoFaSoA [Master of Feigning a State of Alertness].

i find doing a toy shoot (i.e. taking pictures of toys) a lot less stressful than doing a model shoot. sure, they're practically expressionless..but at least with toys, you wont hear any complaints if you sever their heads.

PHILOSOPHY

When life gives you lemons, complain about the lemons.
