About Me

HELLO WORLD!

My current mission is to find the real source of happiness. And I've been quite successful so far.

Just a couple of months ago I left Scotland and now I'm chilling and getting fat in Italy. It's been great.

I am an Art History student on my way to (hopefully, one day) work on conservation and restoration of art.
I like art, obviously. I take photographs, draw and I paint sometimes. I like nature, cats and silly jokes. I like reading and good music, podcasts on science and true crime, sightseeing and watching tv shows.

I also like traveling and exploring, and solo travel is sort of my thing. It's a perfect opportunity to discover the world and meet new people.

I do talk to animals sometimes. Just fyi..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of this special community in which everyone is everyone's friend and no money is involved.

an endless list which starts like this: nature, books, music, playing the guitar and the whistle, cycling, running, sports generally, art (drawing and painting), hiking, meeting and hanging out with cool people (also my friends are very cool), and so on

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to this and that, rock, metal, alternative, indie, lo-fi, ambient, classical, rock'n'roll, film music, folk, nordic, house, etc.

favourite writers are Terry Pratchett, Irving Stone, F.M. Dostoyevsky, Jan Otčenášek and I would write even more, but I have to go pee

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I created a film that represented my home town and my country in a film competition in Mexico.
Slept under the stars in Sahara on my 22nd birthday (that's two)

Teach, Learn, Share

Anything I can. Would you like to learn the basics of drawing? Or something about European art history? Or Slavs? Or weird things Brits do?
Perhaps I can help.

What I Can Share with Hosts

sarcasm, food, a bed and all I know, all the catspotting places around
(cat hair is inevitable - I don't actually have a cat myself but neighbours' cat keeps coming over to hang out)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Czech Republic, Italy, Netherlands, Scotland, Slovakia
