Couchsurfing – pedido de hospedagem (Carnaval 2026)

Estou procurando uma opção de couchsurfing em uma família ou com uma mulher adulta para minha filha de 17 anos, durante o período do Carnaval, de 13 a 17 de fevereiro de 2026, em uma cidade com tradições autênticas de Carnaval no Brasil — como Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Curitiba, Belo Horizonte, ou outra cidade onde o Carnaval seja culturalmente forte.

Minha filha mora atualmente em Londrina e participa de um programa de intercâmbio de ensino médio. Por esse motivo, somente famílias ou mulheres adultas podem ser aceitas pela organização do intercâmbio.

Ela fala português e inglês fluentemente, está no Brasil desde agosto, conhece bem a cultura e está acostumada a se cuidar com responsabilidade.
É uma jovem muito querida, madura, extrovertida e prestativa. Ama crianças e animais e fica feliz em ajudar no dia a dia como forma de agradecimento pela hospedagem. Todos os custos da viagem serão cobertos por nós.

O mais importante para nós é que ela tenha uma base segura, tranquila e respeitosa, para poder vivenciar o Carnaval de forma cultural e responsável.

Currently I am looking for a couchsurfing option at a family or a woman for my 17 year old daughter in a carnival city in Brasil 13.-17. of February 2026 (Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paolo or somewhere else where there are days of authentic carnival traditions). She lives in Londrina and speaks English and Portuguese. She is travelling with an exchange organisation for a high school year, so only families or single women will be accepted by the organisation.
She is super nice, mature, extrovert and helpful. She loves children and animals. She has stayed in Brazil since August, so she is used to be careful and speaks Portugues fluently.

I am a mother of three lovely girls, who are now adults and moved from home. I don't smoke, and I try to eat healthy.

I am a positive and outgoing person, who like to read all kinds of literature, hike in nature, travel, classical singing, fitness, have new experiences and meet new people. I am interested in Law and politics and learning about other people's life styles, new cultures, talk to people from not only my own generation, but also elder and younger people. Let's share hos wonderful the world is and how precious, helpful and nice most people are :-D

I am currently a busy Law student, so I can engage socially mainly while we eat, while I have to finish my master soon. But whenever I have a break, I will be happy to show you around og help you find activities and tours in the area.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to hitch hike, when I was younger. It gave a lot of great travel experiences, free rides and exciting meetings with new people.
Currently, being busy with my studies, travelling is not so often an option. So for me, couch surfing is another way to let the world into my home and meet new people.

I don't have much money, so couch surfing is also a way to be able to afford cheap travelling, while meeting new people and learning about other cultures. I am also interested in home exchange during holidays, so I take care of your house and pets and you take care of mine. I like meeting other people, exchanging cultures and make new friends.

If you go to Southern Norway and wants to "go local", you are welcome to stay with me for some days. We can almost always find a room, or worse case a mattress, for you.

I love opera and jazz. Currently I don't read so much else but Law books. I like historical dramas, like Downtown Abbey and Outlander.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cracked the code in Harry Potter in 2005, started a big network for victims of domestic violence, changed family law in two countries, survived a lot of exciting travel experiences and gave birth to the best children in the world. Right now I am about to finish my second master degree.

Telling stories and exchanging viewpoints - or just listening to you :-) It's exciting to meet people from other countries, backgrounds and cultures. Sometimes we will hear new viewpoints, which we can either approve or disapprove of - but it will hopefully always broaden our horizon.
I can make you some dinner, buy you breakfast or invite you out as a little thank you for your hospitality.

I like to go out for sight seeing during the day. So being together will be mainly in the evenings or mornings. Since we don't know each other, I don't want to be sitting your knees off. But if you want to join me, let's explore your area together. :-)

Both my children and I are open and openminded. We are of course willing to help with some practical tasks, while we visit you, from baby sitting to cleaning, taking care of animals and other work, while also hoping to have time to explore the area.
