ABOUT ME

Well,... I like to make new experiences and share them with others. I`m always happy to see new places and talk to people of different countries and cultures for everyone has a story to tell.
I studied at the University of Leipzig for becoming a teacher for philosophy, french and german as a foreign language. Now I'm working in Mongolia as teacher for german.
I like children and to work with them (see them grow and develop), that's why I wanted to become a teacher. It's a work where you give a lot but get back so much more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Yet I have so far some experiences with CouchSurfing and they were all great. Nice people with whom I liked to talk and spend time a lot.
It's a good place to come together and learn from each other. I really liked to see the world as one someday.

Interests

Especially music, singing and playing instruments. I am also collecting instruments.
I love languages and knowing the origin of words, phrases and names (I can be a bit nerdy about this sometimes), but also nature, climbing, diving, canoeing, walking, nice countrysides and being a help for my friends.
Seeing as much as possible of this wonderful world and try to help to keep this world a good and clean place to live.

Music: different stuff, doesn´t depend on style or artist (if I can sing along to it or it moves my feed I normally like it :) but depends on my mood.

Books: Brave new world, 1984, all the Discworld Novels, The Pillars of the Earth, all the Shakespear stories, Measuring the World, Siddhartha, ...

Movies: especially movies from Tim Burton, Wes Anderson, Martin Scorsese, Clint Eastwood, Monty Python and movies like Gardenstate, American Beauty, Constantin, Mr. Nobody, Amelie, Gran Torino, My Life without me, Dead Poets Society, ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting deaf children in Uganda an see how happy you can make them just by playing with them for a while and let them explain to you there sign language.
