HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I knew about this website because a good friend of mine uses it already a few years and is very enthusiastic about it.
This is a great opportunity to meet people!
By joining CS I want to contribute to a much more social, peaceful, and tolerant world/society.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went with friends of mine from Belgium to a host in Lille (France), it was my first and great experience, we were very welcome and I felt at home, which is great. Thanks to Beatrice from Lille!

Intereses

I like to travel, I think it opens your mind and makes you see things from an other perspective.

I try to live in a healthy, nature loving and ecological way. Because I care for the environment and nature in general and I believe a healthy attitude and lifestyle makes a better you and a better world to live in.

I love to listen to others about their life experiences and learn from it, so I can use some of it in my own life and become an even better person then i already am ;-p

I enjoy other languages, (want to speak them all, but of course, that's not possible) and different cultures. I love the theater, going to the sauna to relax. I am interested in all kind of sports to keep my body (and mind!) fit, and so much more...

I'd like to host people in a very quiet natural friendly rural enviroment.

A 12 days Vipassana teaching practice about insight meditation based on Buddhist (Goenka) philosophy from 2500 years ago.

I worked voluntary with many refugees in 'the Jungle' in Calais (Care4Calais)

I have been voluntarily helping out in the kitchen in the Holistic Cooking School in Devon (South England), also named as International Macrobiotic School

Participating in the Oikoten project, by walking a part of the Camino de Santiago in Spain.

Cirque du Soleil, the show 'Corteo': really astonishing and perfect in each detail!

Last summer I saw the musical 'Oliver' in London, it was astonishing, even the theater building itself, as if you were brought back into the past more then 100 years ago.

Been to Qatar to visit my cousin and her family. Just an amazing adventure.
