Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet people and I'm glad Couchsurfing allows meeting so much different persons who have in common to desire sharing their personnality !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One summer, I spent 15 days with a group of friends near à village in the Languedoc-Roussillon (France), a short distance away Perpignan, in an old german blockhaus converted as an holliday private cottage, without water or electricity (thanks the neighbour ! :) ) and far from town lights... :) Great discoveries about me and the others.

Wonderfull natural environmment, under mediteranean climate : dry, hot and windy ! ... The odor freed from a marvelous fennel plantation going through from the rooms to the kitchen by outside, a little forest of thornies that grew inclinded due to the wind (!), the sea of course, added to the quietness of the place... Meetings also, improvised parties... and what Frenches call "système D", as manage by yourself with what you have ! ^^

Un été, j'ai passé 15 jours avec un groupe d'amis près d'un village du Languedoc-Roussillon, à deux pas de Perpignan, dans un ancien blockhaus allemand réaménagé en gîte de vacances privé, sans eau ni électricité courantes (merci le voisin ! :) ) et loin des lumières de la ville... :) De grandes découvertes sur moi et les autres.

Superbe environnement naturel sous le climat méditerranéen : sec, chaud et venteux ! ... L'odeur libérée par un beau plant de fenouil en passant des chambres à la cuisine par l'extérieur, une petite forêt d'épineux qui poussaient penchés à cause du vent (!), la mer bien-sûr, ajoutée à la tranquillité du lieu... Des rencontres également, des fêtes improvisées... et du système D ! ^^
