ABOUT ME

I'm very easy going, fun, artistic and creative. I spend a lot of time making things, learning new skills, and meeting new people. I love traveling and trying new things (specifically food & wine). I can get along with almost anyone and most people say that I can be pretty charming if not very opinionated.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to try new things as much as you can and to try to keep an open heart.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting new people and would be happy to show someone around Washington, DC or Baltimore or Annapolis, MD and some neat places in between.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a very nice Turkish man in Amsterdam in the fall of 2010 for a couple days and I also stayed with another German male student in Eindhoven during that same trip. They were both very polite and generous hosts. The Turkish man even took me to the Van Gogh Museum and introduced me to his friends! It was a great experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the Palace of Knossos and searching for the minotaur was pretty amazing for me. ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share quite a bit about art and Art History. If you get me in an art museum (or a history museum), I would make a great guide. I can also share some watercolor painting techniques, a thing or two about sewing, and the basics for crochet. I also can give great book, movie, and music recommendations.
