I grew up with two sisters, partly in Germany and partly in Crete, Greece. I love to get to know new people, cultures and worlds! I try to live my life knowing that I can learn something new and usefull every day, from anyone and anything. Identifying with any culture or (belief) system is something that I don't prefer.. although my greek "identity" is sometimes surprisingly strong. This is one of the reasons I want to see as much of the world as possible!
I love to travel and have a great interest in Tourism, that is why I'm going to study it in Berlin, starting September 2018. Hopefully I will find a nice home where i can invite couchsurfing guests too :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be fairly honest, up untill now, I have only hosted or been hosted by couchsurfing friends that I already knew before in person. So I'm getting active into the platform to tap into the real experience of couchsurfing.. as I mentioned, I want to travel the world and this community is full of people with the same wish.. I'm convinced that the shared experience, is something that can bring us travelers closer to our goals and destinations :)

I prefer my music like my food : not mass produced and made with love.. mostly
In movies I usually don't have a problem if they are made for mass consumption, but I looove documentaries, e-books and various podcasts
I love philosophy, mythology, history, and science, but I enjoy also novels and poetry

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

First thing that comes to mind is a night in late November some years ago in the South of Crete (that is where most of the magic happens on this Island). After a swim under the moonlight at Moni Koudouma, we went straight on a 6 hour night hike up to Asterousia Mountains at over 1000 meters above sea level and experienced the most amazing Sunrise ever:) and that without getting a cold!!
