Hi!

I’m 23 yrs old and currently traveling Japan with my boyfriend! I am from Seattle, WA and I recently graduated the UW (go dawgs) with a double major in Dance and musical theatre! I just started couch surfing and really traveling the world on my own, and I can’t wait for the adventures to come. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My boyfriend and I have both traveled Japan before, but this year we decided to move to Kanto district in February! SO, before the time comes where we have to work and stay put in one city, we are traveling Japan and wanting to see as many places and meet as many people!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: almost all! Jazz, rock, 70’s/80’s, rap, swing...anything I can move my feet and hips to!
Movies: still a newbie with movies, but a big fan of Miyazaki, Disney, Harry Potter, and documentaries
Books: currently read and loved “extremely loud and incredible close”. Also love reading plays

Folded a thousand cranes with my friends and family as a wish for my grandpa to get better

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching AND learning about Japanese culture, as I have lived in the US my whole life but have visited Japan over 20 times...but still have a lot to learn!
I love learning new recipes and cooking/baking techniques, and I love to cook/bake for others-especially birthdays. :)
I’m also a dancer and teacher, so exchanging stories and tips about either is always fun for me!

The biggest thing I’m constantly learning is that I still have a lot to learn. :)
