Overview
About Me
I am a political organizer with the Bernie Sanders for President campaign. Though my life is currently filled with work (I'm in the office 12 hours a day, 7 days a week), I love to travel in my free time and enjoy having a local prospective when I do so.
I grew up in a small town in Iowa and have since moved to Des Moines to begin a career in activism and politics. I hope to return to school in the coming years and complete my degree in Political Science or Journalism. I'm engaged and excited to start my life with my fiance, Jordan. We are hoping to become fur parents to a cat very soon.
PHILOSOPHY: It is not our purpose to become each other; it is to recognize each other, to learn to see the other and honor him for what he is.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm currently using Couchsurfing as a tool to find short term housing for some of the volunteers we have coming into Des Moines for the Bernie Sanders campaign during our upcoming weekend of action.
Later on, I'll be using it to travel the world and to make lifelong friends.
