I grew up in the real "mid"west: Kansas, 30 miles from the geographical center of the United States. The only extracurricular activity I did in school was Quiz Bowl. I've worked at a garden center, a florist, and a medical farm. I've WWOOFed around Northern California for the last two seasons.. Summer 2017 was spent at a Buddhist monastery. Now I'm headed to Tennessee to begin my next phase of money-making and outdoor exploration.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of reciprocity. All in hopes one day I will have the means to host 'surfers (and WWOOFers for that matter)! I've met so many amazing people through my travels already.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I got stuck on the side of a lake after losing the trail and climbing across a rock face for three hours. The only way across was to undress and push my belongings across the lake on a log. It was AWESOME.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I read a lot and I love to talk about books. Dreams are very important to me, so I make it a practice to keep a dream journal and chat in the mornings about what we got into last night :)
