About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm studying Wildlife Biology and Nature & Heritage Tourism at Texas State University. I'm a highly motivated procrastinator with a lot of good luck when it comes to cool opportunities. I can be a bit cynical and sarcastic but like to think the best of humanity. I love the outdoors and have been described as the "granola" one of my friends, preferring to spend my money on a new backpack or hiking boots than an ipad or getting my nails done. I don't like crowds and prefer natural settings to concrete ones, but I think most cities have great things to offer. I seriously love food and local fare. I can't wait to see the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I just got back from a volunteer trip to Costa Rica that had some really great moments:
- catching eggs as they were laid by an enormous leatherback sea turtle so they weren't taken by poachers.
- swimming at the bottom of a waterfall with new friends from all around the U.S., Australia, and Canada.
- giving simple gifts like crayons and yo-yos to the sweetest, most grateful children I've ever met.
