ABOUT ME
They would characterize me as optimistic, friendly, and easy to talk to (I'd hope). I'm an art /psychology student. A nature and people lover. I'm a hopeless dog owner, I adore them!
PHILOSOPHY
The past few years have brought so much change into my life and how I define myself in this world. There was a time when traveling to a country alone was not even a thought. Now, I've been to several!
So with travel and what I am asking by using this site in mind, I'd say go through life as a guest. Be grateful of gifts, eager to help, happy to give, always pick up your mess, and enjoy the stay (it won't last forever).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've really enjoyed connecting with people from different cultures and walks of life. I've met some truly wonderful people through this site and hope to pick up some new friends soon!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Moudest Mouse, XXYYXX, Explosions in the Skies, Grizzly Bear, Animal Collective, Frank Sinatra...
Books: Honestly, I'm not as well read as I would like outside school readings. I inherited a National Geographic magazine collection spanning from the sixties until 2004 and it has kept me occupied.
Movies: The Kid, any Shirley Temple film, The Adams Family, The Others, Inception, Ferris Bueller's Day Off.... much more
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hard to say but one amazing thing would be hiking up a mountain in Utah to reach a waterfall which overlooked Salt Lake City. Another would be the kindness of strangers. I remember looking very lost in Boston when a woman, on her way home, took a few hours to give us a tour of her home town. While in Boston I encountered many friendly people that made the trip so memorable.
