My name is Simon. I am 25 years old. The two things I love most in the world are travelling and meeting new people. So what is the best way to combine these 2 things?...couchsurfing!

PHILOSOPHY

I like to go through life experiencing new things. No new experience is a bad one and whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I may not live in the most happening of places, however you are welcome to stay on my couch. I move around a lot and can say that wherever I am living I will always have a couch available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never surfed with anybody however me and my friendly housemates have hosted many surfers in the past months, and had great fun doing it.

Interests

Apart from travel and meeting new people, I am a big film buff. I particularly enjoy world cinema (if you have any reccommendations please let me know)!

I enjoy going out with friends and listening to live music.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big film fan. Some of my favourite directors are: Darren Aronofsky, Alfred Hitchcock, David Lynch, Shane Meadows, Steve McQueen.
There are too many individual films to name

Music: very mixed but at the moment I am listening to Death Cab for Cutie, Frank Turner, The Shins, Mumford and Sons, Biffy Clyro

Books: Stephen King, I also read some non fiction.

I have travelled to many places around the world...but still not enough! I hope to experience many new things with courchsurfing.
