ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Scooter. I left my job in corporate America to pursue teaching English in South Korea. I then backpacked alone for over a year. It was a scary journey to leave and go to a land of the unknown. Traveling is my passion and I have dedicated my life to culture and diversity education.

I am currently living back home in the United States and teaching middle school in San Diego. I absolutely adore children and have the best job in the world! I like to see what the world has to offer and travel as often as I can.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to play in all of the World's sandboxes. I live for culture and diversity education and want to experience as many things as possible. Adventure, learning, and connection are my driving forces. But laughter helps too.

If you got a hold of my iPod you would see mostly hip hop and country music with the occasional top 40 and dance. However, I am usually up for any type of music except for heavy metal.
