ABOUT ME
Hi.
My name is Seth, I live in sometimes beautiful south Georgia with my always gorgeous and wonderful significant other Natasha. We are both young and lively at heart, waiting for our time to travel the world. Now we are sincere students of life, and sometimes of University, where we both study anthropology (and rocks).
We love to create useful things that we can share with our close community of friends here. We spend a lot of time working in the garden, making soap, playing music and singing, working on various odds and ends.
We are both organizers working on peace, justice, race, and eco-justice organizing around Valdosta and the Southeast so we also spend a lot of time planning events, talking to people and building organizing skills and capacity in our community.
We look forward, at the end of this year 2009, to hiking a piece or all of the appalachian trail before going off into the greater and wider world. So, we do a lot of reading and conversing about those plans (as plan-less as we hope they will be).
PHILOSOPHY
Live well. Understand your perception of quality and perpetuate high quality in all that you do. To understand and enjoy. I dont believe that anything, action, being or nonbeing is in any way or any form seperate from anything else. thus there are no right and wrong, only quality based on goals and expectations.
Work hard for change...but enjoy everything that you do.
Have fun and experience.
And then a lot about Power, infrastructure, and what change means.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted people on CS before, but have had to start a new profile because I was traveling (and not using CS (what a sin I know), and have lost my profile.
We look to host folks for the next year or so, and then perhaps meet some of the delight that CS has to offer across the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
very much enjoyed 2 short stays on my couch by some folks biking through.
