Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience life to its fullest with its ups and downs, and to inspire other people to live their dreams just as I am.
ABOUT ME
I live my experiences nonjudgmental (at least to the best of my abilities of rationality), and make my decisions according to what feels best at that moment according to lessons learnt in previous similar experiences and my humanistic code of ethics and values.
PHILOSOPHY
my philosophy in life is to live in the moment, experience new things, and to learn more about this planet, its cultures, beliefs, wisdoms and lessons.
I am an optimist. I love sharing smiles and enjoyable times with positively orientated people. If I can learn 1 thing from a person every day, it makes that day so much more worthwhile. If they can learn something from me, I am thankful that I was the conduit for such important information in their life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
CS looks bigger than I had anticipated, but it looks like just the right place to meet really great people all around the world.
At Home I help people with information they might need about this country, a touristic or a personal approach. And I help them find a couch (or alternatively a decent accommodation).
I meet with some local couchies on a regular social basis and through that regularly also meet their surfers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I attended a couchsurfing bowling evening in South Africa with a friend of mine. The couchsurfers were all very friendly, very accommodating, very curious about the culture and interesting to chat to.
a fantastic experience. thank you

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
the most amazing thing I see every day around me.
the world we live in
Teach, Learn, Share
what I have learnt in the last couple of months, is that we all have positives and negatives within ourselves. Once we start to accept our negatives as part of us, and don't feel ashamed or guilty about them any more, that's when you find peace and comfort in who you are. and once you can be happy with who you are, life becomes much more dynamic. It starts unfolding more options than ever before.
