I am a 26 year old Norwegian with a masters degree in counseling. I live with my boyfriend in the middle of Ålesund sentrum. We just moved in to our first apartment which has a guest bed room. We love cooking new healthy dishes together, enjoying red wine, dark chocolate and really good conversations with our visitors (both friends and couch surfers).

I am an honest, philosophical and happy person. I enjoy traveling, exploring and getting to know people - especially people with different cultural backgrounds than myself :D The same goes for my boyfriend. We feel best about hosting on weekends, as we normally go to bed around 10 pm on weekdays, and wake up around 6 am. If you don't mind following such a rhythm on weekdays, you are, however, welcome to stay!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because I truly believe the authentic experience of a country lies within its people. Also, I have been traveling alone and enjoyed the company of other smiling faces that turned into great friends :)

Interests

I have a lot of them, like horseback riding, reading, digital scrapbooking, photography, music, hanging out with friends, working out (yoga, kettlebell, bike rides, toneitup & blogilates).

I enjoy pop, rock, jazz, soul, r&b, and even some Swedish heavy metal.

I enjoy disney movies, romantic comedies and also some science fiction.

When it comes to books I mostly keep to novels and crime. Really, what´s important to me is the writing style.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Decided to solo travel around the world - best decisition of my life! One of my best experiences was couchsurfing for three days in Thailand. I got to try and see so many things I would´t have done if I just stayed in hostels.
