About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To have a really great life and make meaningful connections with others
ABOUT ME
I am a single mother of two great kids. I am a native Northern Californian and have lived here for most of my life. I love new experiences and enjoy keeping busy. My kids and I are always up to something, whether it's taking our dogs to the dog park, baking something yummy, watching a baseball game over at my mom's house, or heading over to the coast for a day at the beach. There is so much to experience and do in life. I never find myself bored.
PHILOSOPHY
I think that happiness is the key and happiness is arrived at through balance in life. There are so many different forces and people and activities working at any one time and each of us must find our own balance which helps us to feel good about ourselves and our lives. I am striving to find mine right now and I feel that I am getting very close.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far we have hosted a handful of guests. It has always been a lot of fun. Couchsurfers come from all over and are very friendly and bring something to us with their energy, their stories, and their positive attitudes. We have gotten postcards from a few guests after they left. We really appreciate these gestures.
We have also couchsurfed a couple of times ourselves. It's definitely a great way to travel and I plan to continue doing it for a long time.
Interests
Doing most anything with my kids, reading, going to the park, having coffee with friends, cooking and baking, watching good movies, having parties, spending time with family, going to the beach, playing board and card games, art projects, gardening, yoga, taking long walks.
