Hello! We are two girls who live together in Copenhagen, both 22 years old and studying (Sigrid has just started on Nature Ressources and Astrid have studied Informational science and cultural communication for a year).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We would love to stay with someone, that has a lot of good tips for what to do in the city and hopefully would like to join us as well. We definitely think that is the best way of travelling and getting to know a city and it’s people and culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

Astrid is into classical music and opera such as Wagner and Bach (she also plays the cello)

Sigrid likes a mix of Indie rock/pop and more. Favourites at the moment; Gorillaz, Radiohead, the National, Arcade Fire, Blood Orange, Mac DeMarco

We like the same kinds of books; an all time favourite of ours is Milan Kunderas The Unbearable Lightness of being. Otherwise it’s usually classics.
Sigrid is also in to the “great American novels and the british ones. The ones that are usually on the high school curriculum like the catcher in the rye and lord of the flies and fight club and a clockwork orange. Films by Trier, Wes Anderson and Japanese movies.
Astrid likes cinema - like Haneke, Trier, Tarkovsky and Wong Kar Wei and recently read Lagerkvist and Martin A Hansen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

we travelled to slovenia together not long ago, where we lived on a permaculture farm, where we raked 7-8 steep fields covered with ferns, hiked two mountains in one day and ate Melania pancakes with gold dust sprinkled all over it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We would love to hang out if you have time and have some good conversations over a beer or two. Other that we are nice and clean and will take good care of your place that you are so nice to welcome us in.
We bake some good cakes as well and we like to cook food from all over the world (for me preferably with a lot of spices).
