About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Procrastinate now!
ABOUT ME
Forever student and philantrop, fond of silliness, walking and my darling cat Super-Tom. Also definately waterproof after growing up on Norway's west coast. Love nature! For the time being I'm living my life in Lancaster, a beautiful little town on the north west coast of England. I'm here to complete my masters degree in International Law and I really love it here! Unfortunately though, living on Campus makes it impossible for me to host at the moment. However, I love meeting new people and am always up for a coffee, drink, bicycle ride or even a hike in the Lake District. So if you're nearby, please message me and I'll do my best at showing you around:-)
PHILOSOPHY
The Norwegian author Anders Heger said it for me:
"As the result of a serendipity lacking simile, we find ourselves in a time and place with opportunities unthinkable to practically all humans. This is not our right, like some political rhetoric would have us believe. But it involves a kind of moral obligation to go out and seize these opportunities […]. A big part of today's political debate revolves around the right to be insulted. While really you have an obligation to be enthusiastic, curious and hyperactive."
And then the short version: In Omnia Paratus! :D
Interests
Love walking! You can pretty much get anywhere by walking if you've only got the time. Love walking in mountains, in forests, in fields, in cities, to and from town, in the rain, in the sun, during the day and at night... ought to maybe even change my cs mission to "walking all around the world" - but not necessary since i usually procrastinate while i walk anyway..:-P

Music, Movies, and Books
Love music! Most genres, but especially folk, world and jazz. Joni Mitchell, Grayson Capps, Tom Waits, Carole King, Cat Power, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Lars-Ante Kuhmunen, Malouma, Jesse Sykes, Mari Boine, Bob Dylan, Holly Golightly... list pretty much goes on forever. And off course - being a university student for the last seven years of my life - my everyday life is all about the reading. Love Hemingway, Don DeLillo, JD Salinger, the Harry Potter books, read "A christmas carol" by Dickens every christmas... and tons more. Lot of great norwegian authors like Tore Renberg, Henrik Langeland. Poetry, like Henrik Wergeland, Ingrid Hagerup, even reading the sonetts by Shakespeare right now.Movies can be wonderful, but seldom got time to watch a whole movie. Some favourites are A love song for Bobby Long, Heartbeats, Hideous Kinky, It happened one night.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once climbed mt Ngarurohe, a volcano in New Zealand. Nine hour trip in a fantastic landscape of volcanic rocks with all kinds of amazing colours and formations and tiny mountain flowers clinging on to.. life I guess.. When I got to the top, the crater was like an explotion of the most intense coloured rocks I've ever seen! And being two and a half thousand meters above sea level, the mountain view was really spectacular as well!
