ABOUT ME

I’ve had many jobs including working on vineyards in Europe and South America, running a safari camp in Tanzania, doing economic development research work in the former Soviet Union, teaching algebra on 3 different continents. The ultimate goal would be to travel, write, eat well, repeat.

You and I would probably get along.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting new people through couch surfing helps everyone avoid the sterile environment of a hotel while traveling. I am floating now and in need of the hospitality of others, but I will pay it forward as soon as I find my next humble abode.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I beg people to visit me when I live in crap locations (ie rural Azerbaijan), and I can't stop visitors from coming when I live in sunny Miami Beach or a vineyard in France. Life's a bitch; that's why there is couchsurfing.
