Want to put here that unfortunately due to the large amount of recieved messages I struggle to answer many of them. I am unable to host and work a demanding job at the moment which gives little time for the community which I hate but cannot change at the moment.

I´d like to point out the discussion board in the Iceland group where any questions will get answered much quicker and usually with better information than I can provide. Also the weekly pub crawl event advertised here on the events page is a great place to meet locals and travelers alike to share travel tips and advice.

TL:DR about me is that I´m an Icelander who recently moved back to Iceland spring 2014 after living in Scotland for 16 years and the CS community has been my source of socializing while settling here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I originally joined to both host and had plans to surf, neither has happened yet and am now unfortunately unable to host as I stay in a small studio apartment. Regardless, couchsurfing has created opportunities for great day trips and other excursions through weekly meet ups and other events.
