About Me

I'm Margaux, 31 and soon to be REALLY moving to Canada with my dog Alfie.
Got the Working Holiday Visa, after I land I'll be looking for a couchsurfer host to help me fight the jetlag and spend some quality time with locals or/and adoptive locals ;)
Then I'm hoping to find a place where i could stay and do some work, woofing or workaway style for a while near Montreal. And hopefully in winter times I'll find a job in a ski resort, not quite sure where yet...
I'm trying not to put too much pressure to organise everything, and have a vibe more like "go with the flow"
Guess we'll see how it turns out !

The following words are a description of me in my 20 something - didn't feel like erasing it so please, just don't read it :p

Really easy-going, a bit crazy sometimes but my friends would say that it's what makes me charming haha.
I like taking risks, I love nature (not mosquitos) and music even though I don't have any shower singing skills (but I try).

Scotland was my first love and I decided to move back before brexit and become a raft guide.
I like loads of things such as skiing, rafting, horse riding, mountain biking, hiking, chilling in my bed with the window open when it rains..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just moved back to Scotland and life is not as easy as it used to be without the good friends who moved away.
CS is handy for the budget of a traveler but CS is necessary to be part of the local culture and to meet f**king great people from all around the world. I've been so lucky with the people I met so far. Reading some references here and there I'd say the experience is almost always more than positive !
