ABOUT ME

I'm 19 years old, German, and I'm living in Upstate New York right now. Here I'm participating in a volunteer programm with mentally disabled young adults.
I'm really interested in meeting people with different cultural backrounds than mine, and to find out about their coulture.
In my freetime I love to do sports, especially soccer, I listen to music and I read scientific articles in magazines or online.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm in more or less travelling in the United States. I found out about CS a bit more then a year ago, but I was to busy that time, to fiddle with it at that point. Now I heard about friends being part of the CS community, and I decided, I want to be part of it too.
Since I don't know, what I'm gonna do exactly, when I'm back in Germany, It's hard for me to tell in which way I can offer a couch. I'll update this, as soon, as I know more :-)

Im really interested in sports and politics. I enjoy it very much talking to people from foreign parts of the world, talk about cultural, political or other differences between our countries and just have a good time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer i was in tanzania and on kilimancharo top. on the way to the summit one evening i walked a bit further upwards. After one hour of walking i was at a place, where probably no human being has been before. there were no sounds, and it was an absolutly perfect moment - just sitting there, 4800meters (15700ft) above the sea level and just thinkin about my life.
