About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Think Positive. Explore the World!

ABOUT ME

Love to be a stranger, changing living places, environments, countries...
Curious to explore more and more. Sometimes very active, sometimes taking the position of an observer. Love to experience new places and environments. To get the feeling/aura that every place has. Sometimes alone. Sometimes in a company.

PHILOSOPHY

The Inspirer.
Happy-Go-Lucky.
It's a life without regret.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to enjoy all the options the CS provides, depending on my opportunities. While I was volunteering in Macedonia, I hosted a lot of Couchsurfers, though afterwards it wasn't really possible to do that anymore. But my dream is still real - one day I'll have my own place, where every Couchsurfer will be very welcome to step by! I still haven't decided on the place on this planet Earth, where it will be. So I am a traveller and I like to challenge myself with living in different environments and countries, and I've received lots of hospitality from the Couchsurfers, whose cities and countries I've visited so far. And I am thankful for that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

To sum up my overall Couchsurfing experience, I must say in every case it's a bit of a surprise, but in the most of the cases - a good surprise! :) Here I mean people I met and I'm going to meet - whether I was hosting them or either they were hosting me or we just met randomly for a short city tour and a drink [no matter in which city/country I found myself living]. This is a way to make new friends and enjoy/provide hospitality, gain new insights and opinions about certain issues of the modern reality, including music, culture, cousine, books, movies... and everything in the world, depending where your curiousity gets you. Yeah, I definitely love it!

Interests

traveling in places, spaces and faces, people and their stories, photography, architecture, cinematography, questions and answers, exploring new sounds [in music], extra-ordinary things + always something new...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - there were times of Rock, there were times of Pop, Jazz, Alternative, Electronic... well, I prefer to be in motion of exploring new sounds in the world of music, which is changing every now and then.

Books - mostly with a realistic outlook on different situations in life, with that I wanted to say that I'm not a science-fiction fan. :D But otherwise I prefer books having different shades of the real world wrapped in diverse cultural backgrounds.
Latest picks: The God of Small Things [by Arundhati Roy], The Joke [by Milan Kundera], 11 minutes [by Paolo Coelho], Cellist of Sarajevo (by Steven Galloway), The Book of Negroes (by Lawrence Hill), The Master and Margarita (by Mihail Bulgakov), Thousand Splendid Suns (by Khaled Hosseini), creations of Kurt Vonnegut etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm the kind of person for whom is never enough. Especially in terms of learning something new. But it doesn't mean that I'm just all that. I enjoy sharing my knowledge about different things, in case if you're willing to learn. Well, it's all about having fun in a relaxing atmosphere, right? But if to be concrete - I can teach you how to use QuarkXpress magazine design program, we can have a Photographic tour around the city [whichever city that would be] or I just can give you some tips on how to write a good article [this is a rather relative philosophy, but still]. I'm also out for some creative workshop - even if that means making dolls out of old gloves and socks or creating unique earrings [unique in a way that they'll have a story behind it and that you'll make them with your own hands] to donate them later to an orphanage or giving to somebody special. The list... to be continued. There's no boundaries for being creative, I guess. :)
Of course if you have any questions about EVS [European Voluntary Service] - I'm a walking brochure and I'm passionate about this European project, so don't hesitate to ask - how to gain volunteering experience in another European country! :)
