ABOUT ME

All right. I'm 25 years old and spend my days teaching high school Swedish in Stockholm. When I have some spare time I enjoy all kinds of crafts, art and music. (At the moment aquarelle painting and making historical clothing, but that changes quickly).

I could be a little bit shy and I'm not much of a party person, but I'd gladly show you some favourite Stockholm sites or invite you over for a cup of tea. I'm great company to visit museums, cafés or go sight-seeing with. I also make great coffee.

I live in Bergshamra, 12 minutes from Stockholm C, in a flat with my girlfriend Karolina (https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/2000357867/profile) and our two cats. The neighbourhood is labyrinthic and populated by mostly international students, has its own charm and is close to Ulriksdal castle, a few pizzerias and Brunnsviken.

I'm trying to log in here more often, as I would enjoy couch surfing visitors from around the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to meet new people and become more socially outgoing. Earlier I've had non-optimal living conditions, but now I'm giving this a new try. Later on I would love to travel more across the world, and then, what would be a better way to get to know locals, than couchsurfing?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I registered back in 2009 before an InterRail trip I made with a friend, but never couchsurfed. After that I shared an account with my ex-boyfriend (he wasn't my ex at the time though), resulting in this american guy who slept at our couch for two nights.

We took him to this nice socialist punk café one night, and I made him a full Swedish breakfast before his departure. That was quite nice!

Interessen

Any creative stuff! I enjoy larping, crafting, drawing, writing stuff (mostly blogposts nowadays), playing folk music, embroidery, historical clothing, painting etc.

Mostly any intellectual stuff too. It's easy to catch me with an interesting discussion about, say, linguistics, feminism, culture, politics, LGBT or gender issues etc.

And oh, I love clothes, especially vintage stuff. I usually forget that while trying to make myself sound as intelligent (pretentious?) as possible?

I enjoy going to museums and concerts, rather than clubs and bars. And I'm always up for coffee.
