Overview
About Me
I'm a fairly simple person with many aspirations. I'm a farmer, a fisherman, a carpenter, a gardener, a scientist, a lover, a fighter, an athlete, and an engineer. I think deeply about many things and try to always view the world around me with fascination.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Chances are high that people willing to share their space and learn about new people and cultures are generally the kind of people I want to be around. Rather than stay in an impersonal hotel when visiting a new place, why not get to know a local open minded individual or group?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I home-schooled myself in junior year of high school.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you're interested, I can talk for long periods about technical subjects such as physics, math, metallurgy, and energy production. I can also offer music and book suggestions. I grew up in Maine, the Northeastern-most state of the U.S., and attended University in California; I can tell you about my experiences living in both of those places.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer some good English practice; I consider myself well-read and don't mind offering grammatical corrections if you'd like. I tend to gravitate towards deep conversations and love connecting with people over common thoughts. I'm always looking for chances to work-out so I would be happy to be your exercise partner, even if it's something I haven't tried before. And bonus points if you'd want to be a sparring partner for boxing or jiu jitsu.
