About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Survive visually.
ABOUT ME
I was born in Brazil and grew up in the United States. When I turned 18, I came back to Brazil to become a journalist. I've always been in love with it and learned a great deal at a pretty young age. I've worked on television, radio and a few newspapers. I graduated from the University of São Paulo and then went on to work at Folha de S.Paulo, where I write about visual arts, architecture and design. I also collaborate with several magazines around the world, especially "Frieze", in London.
Personality wise, I'm very passionate, which to some translates as stubborn. I've always been very ambitious, obstinate and set on my path. There are a few goals I have in mind and I don't plan to give up anytime soon. I also tend to fall in love too easily, which can be dangerous, but I haven't let it ruin my life. I'd say, in short, that I'm always after new experiences.
PHILOSOPHY
Restlessness is a virtue if you let it take you absolutely everywhere. I think we all must try everything at least once, and keep doing what we like.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing up the slope of Stromboli, the volcano in Sicily, is something I'll never forget. I think it's the most beautiful place on earth. Then there is just getting lost in Tokyo and being blinded by the lights of Shibuya crossing. Both were luminous and intense experiences, one for the raw nature of it all, and the other for how rough, splendid and shimmering manmade stuff can be.
