ABOUT ME
I am an active and sportive person who really likes doing a lot of different stuff. Travelling, Climbing, Cycling, Skiing, Ice-hockey and so on. Recently I have got a growing interest in Latin dances such as Salsa, Bachata, Merengue
Right now I have finished my Master's in aeronautical engineering abroad at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. I have moved back to Munich recently and I am pursuing my PhD at the TUM.
Since I am working full time now, I am not able to travel as much myself. Therefore, I am looking forward to meet people from different places of the world in order to experience all the culures on this great planet!
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy your life - you´ve got just one
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try to surf when I am travelling and I try to host at home. Right now, I am back from the US and some great experiences in Caluifornia.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far it has been a great experience! I have met lots of nice hosts and encountered a few guests as well. It's been an amazing time and I hope it will continue like that!
Interests
As told above: Almost everything connected with sports and the outdoors. Of course, hanging out with friend and going out is a major part of my life. Dancing (especially Latin American dances). I also quite enjoy reading a book in the sun while listening to music. Probably it´s best if you just find out ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like movies transporting a great cinematic atmosphere like No Country For Old Men, Sin City, Braveheart, Lord
Of The Rings...
In regard to books I really like technical thrillers - especially by Michael Crichton. I have also read a few books of Tom Clancy. Furthermore I really do like Scandinavian crime thrillers. Paulo Coelho or Gabriel Garcia Marquez are great, too.
For going out I prefer House Music, but at home I really listen to everything. Preferably there are guitars involed, but standard pop or classical is also fine for me. For dancing I love Latin American music such as Salsa, Bachata, Merengue.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
*Carried a wheelchair on top of Machu Picchu.
*Climbed Everest Base Camp.
*Got caught in a few snow storms in the Scottish Highlands.
*Enjoyed a great sunset in Santa Marta, Colombia.
*Swam in the blue lagoons of Cartagena.
*Fell of a wall while skiing.
*Cycled on top of Mont Ventoux in France.
*Survived Scotthish drinking habits.
Teach, Learn, Share
Obviously I can teach some German and I have some clue about training schedules and other sport-related disciplines. And - if you really want to - calculus and science.
I actually would like to improve my languages a bit. Furthermore I´d love to keep going with Latin dances and learn as much as possible!
