ABOUT ME

I am an active, creative educator,and yoga instructor who loves exploring the world by getting involved with both cultural and artistic activities. I am always moving, motivating others and searching for new ways of making the world a better place and to help the people I love and myself to have a more humanistic outlook on life. I pursue expressing myself through sports, painting, writing and sharing the best of me with others. I love animals, especially dogs and outdoor activities because I consider these help you integrate your body, mind and soul into a whole and I have a wholistic approach to life.

PHILOSOPHY

my two guiding principles:
"A day is life a life is a day" to me the most important thing is to seize the day...and value life in all of its different aspects...
"First try and then you can decide if you like or you don't like something"

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by offering all my skills, experience, home and knowledge to make the experience of other people ,who decide to visit my country a pleasant and enriching one. Also, I participate trying to spot potential members for this project in my hometwon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

well,the couch surfing experiences have always been with people who were friends of friends...the best time was when I went to Chicago some years ago and I stayed at a dorm in an university ( Evanston), it was amazing because it was exactly like living a completely real experience all the time...I loved it...I could have lunch with the students, read books where they did that, play the sports they played, I felt for some days like another student, I think nothing compares to having the chance of being involved in the REAL THING....

Intereses

YOGA, SAILING and
Sports ( tennis, rowing, ashtanga yoga, scuba diving, running, swimming, riding bikes)
Painting, literature ( especially the classics), languages and liniguistics (analising the origin of languages and how these are sociolinguistically connected with a society) writing, movies, series, outdoor life, travelling, photography, theater plays,communication, animals, chess, politics,skiing the environmental protection of our world, cooking, sightseeing, sharing time talking about nice experiences, music,plants and gardening.

Música, películas y libros

I love Italian films, French and oriental films, some American movies such as The God father and also British films. I love many different kinds of music ( from opera to reggae) according to the moment of the day or the activity Im doing I may choose a different type of music...music is the greates companion for me. I love books since I'm Literature teacher some of my favorite authors are Sandor Marai, Julio Cortazar, Shakespeare, Kafca, Hess, Doris Lessing, Paul Auster, Coetzee, Ishiguro, etc

I have gone scuba diving at at night with full moon...
I have climbed up the Uritorco mount in Cordoba
I am about to finish writing my novel...
I worked for a charity organization with little children (orphans) someyears ago

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can teach English, Yoga and all I know about literature, I can teach how the brain works and how to improve your memory by reducing your stress, I can share my knowledge on neurolinguistics to reduce stress and help you become a more effective learner, I can teach about ayurveda philosophy and yoga doshas, I can teach people how to make good sushi, I can teach about the fine Arts and history, I can teach how to understand Shakespeare, I would like to learn ABOUT SAILING, how to play some sports better, how to take great photos and how to cook food that it is typical of the country I visit, I would like to learn how I can become a good chess player and how I can become better at moving around cities easily and learn about economy, history and football.
