About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Why make it hard when you, with a little effort, can make it impossible?
ABOUT ME
Only dead fishes float with the stream so I take a pride in going against the crowd and most of all seize the day. Wether the plan is to sit in a couch all day watching movies or travel 17.000 miles on a bicycle through USA. As soon I have the budget the plan is to first go to Morocco and back (13 countries and 5.000 miles) and then travel from New York to Los Angeles while visiting some friends on the way.
So far it's 30 states and 17.000 miles on that particular agenda.
PHILOSOPHY
When life knocks you down, roll over and watch the stars.
The impossible is possible, just not.. right now.
Failure is never an option. It's just a chance to try again but wiser this time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meet new people, see the world one person at a time. Mostly I host people but I hope to be able to meet new people there to share experiences with during my trips through Europe and USA.
Interests
I have an open mind and are not afraid to try new things. Used to skydive, scubadive and other things. If you haven't tried, you haven't lived.
- movies
- traveling
- skydiving
- rock climbing
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Moviecollector as you see on my picture so I´m gonna say it like Ernst Lubich; Movies are like sex, when it´s good it´s good and when it´s bad... well, it´s still good. The picture is quite old now so there has been some evolving on the shelves. Yeah, I'm 30+ but still a sucker for Disney. Have the complete collection to both mine and my sons pleasure. Horror movies scare the crap out of me silly enough so that's not my primary choice even if I have some in the collection.
Music: Depends on situation. I don't have one genre that I listen to but mostly I prefer calm music even if I can listen to almost anything.
Books: Lee Child at the moment.
Paksennarion by Elisabeth Moon was my first Fantasy experience and that still rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skydiving naked with 4 dude´s and 1 girl was something special. Freaky cold though... despite we only jumped from 7.000ft instead of 12.000. That same weekend I did a midnight-skydive, "floating" on my back under millions of stars. Haven´t found anything else yet that put me closer to eternity than that.
Traveled by bicycle around 700 miles (1.200km) from Sweden to Prague through Germany. During that trip I had a "near-moose-experience" and also the opportunity to see really beautiful views, especially when I was climbing that small mountain between Germany and Czech republic.
Teach, Learn, Share
Life is a game and death is just the same. Live life completely and never regret anything. What are life other than stories to tell and listen to?
What I Can Share with Hosts
Well... Pretty much I guess but it all depends on what kind of a person that I meet. Lot of stories but I was learned that I have two ears and one mouth for a reason so... ;)
