Currently my husband Ben and I are traveling through Croatia and Italy for one month. We love to discover new places that are different from the usual tourist areas, which is why we love couchsurfing so much. You get to know locals and get a small insight into their lives and ideas about what to do in their beautiful country.
This time Ben and I are traveling together with our dog, Skygge, a shy but quiet dog that we adopted from a Spanish shelter about one year ago.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is a nice way to get to know a country in a very realistic way, as you meet locals and get useful inside-information on the area they live in. I've had some wonderful experiences with couchsurfing, e.g. when hitchhiking through Iceland with my sister. We stayed there with a bunch of really great, warmhearted people!
